Data Deletion Policy

At Spartan Habits, we respect your right to control your data. This page explains how to delete your account, remove your data, and revoke Google Calendar access.

How to Delete Your Account and Data

Steps to Delete Your Account

  1. Open the Spartan Habits app on your device
  2. Navigate to Settings → Account Settings
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm your decision when prompted
  5. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days

What gets deleted:

  • Your account information (email, name)
  • All habit tracking data (water, fasting, steps, etc.)
  • Routine schedules and reminders
  • Streak history and analytics
  • Stored OAuth tokens for Google Calendar

Note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure to export any data you wish to keep before deleting your account.

How to Revoke Google Calendar Access

You can disconnect Google Calendar without deleting your account. Choose one of the following methods:

Method 1: From the App

  1. Open Spartan Habits app
  2. Go to Settings → Integrations
  3. Tap "Google Calendar"
  4. Tap "Disconnect" or "Revoke Access"
  5. Confirm when prompted

Method 2: From Your Google Account

  1. Visit myaccount.google.com/permissions
  2. Sign in to your Google Account
  3. Find "Spartan Habits" in the list of third-party apps
  4. Click "Remove Access"
  5. Confirm the removal

What Happens After Revoking Access

  • Spartan Habits will immediately stop accessing your Google Calendar data
  • Your OAuth tokens will be deleted from our secure storage
  • Calendar-based features (conflict detection, schedule view) will be disabled
  • Your habit tracking data and other app features will continue to work normally
  • You can reconnect Google Calendar anytime from app settings

Request a Copy of Your Data

Before deleting your account, you can request a copy of your data:

  1. Open the app and go to Settings → Privacy
  2. Tap "Export My Data"
  3. You'll receive a downloadable file containing all your habit data in JSON format
