3. Health & Fitness Data (Steps)

Spartan Habits Club may access and/or collect Health & Fitness data limited to step count (and related activity totals such as daily steps) only when you connect Google Fit and/or Health Connect (Android) or when you enable step tracking features in the app.

What we access/collect

  • Step count data (e.g., daily step totals)

We request access only to the step data required to provide the step-tracking feature.

What we do NOT access

  • Medical records or clinical data
  • Sensitive metrics (heart rate, blood oxygen, menstrual data, diagnoses)

How we use Step Data

Permissions & Controls

You are in control. You can revoke access at any time by:

  • Disconnecting Spartan Habits Club from Google Fit / Health Connect in your Google/Android settings
  • Revoking the app’s fitness permissions in your device settings

After you revoke permissions, we stop accessing step data going forward.

Google User Data Policy Compliance

Spartan Habits Club's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We comply with the Limited Use Policy for all data received from Google APIs. We do not use Google Workspace data for developing, improving, or training generalized AI and/or ML models.

4. AI & Habit Insights

Spartan Habits Club may use AI-based systems to:

  • Analyze habit patterns
  • Provide personalized suggestions
  • Improve reminder timing and content

All insights are generated only from your in-app activity and are used solely to improve your experience.

If you delete your account (or request deletion), we delete or anonymize your personal data, including stored step data, unless retention is required by law.
